In June 2000 The free French veterants invited the veterans of the 94th Bomb Group, to take part in the official ceremonies in Vercors. Mort Robinson (radio operator gunner on board of B17 "McMakins"), his daughter Debi @Robinson (president of Association 94th Bomb Group Association), Wilbur Richardson (ball turret gunner on board of theB17 "Kismet"), as well as the captain Marty Garren (pilot) and his wife Mona and Jack Brook, had made the trip from the State of Washington in response to the invitation of the section of the “Pioneers du Vercors” of Romans (represented by Messrs Chapus, Brunet), and the National association of ancients maquisards and Resistant du Vercors, chaired by Mr. Lassalle.
